Is it free?+
The core features are free to use. There's no limit on how many oshi you register or how much you can record.
What is Oshi Color Hunt?+
Collect the everyday colors of your oshi in photos and share them with people who love the same things.
Is it safe to use?+
In sharing features like Oshi Color Hunt, you can hide people and posts that don't feel right with block and report.
Where is my data stored?+
Your oshi names, notes, photos, and most records stay mainly on your phone. We don't keep them synced in real time across devices. iCloud backup and ZIP export are supported. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does anything go to your servers?+
Only Oshi Color Hunt posts and public profiles that you choose to share are saved on our servers. Notes and private records on your phone are not sent without your action. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do you read my notes or photos?+
No. We do not read or look at what you wrote in notes or what's in your photos. To fix bugs and make the app easier to use, we may count what happened — for example, that an oshi was created or an import finished — not the content itself. We don't track you for ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can strangers see my stuff?+
Records that stay on your phone — oshi, notes, photos — aren't visible to strangers until you choose to share or post them. Oshi Color Hunt's public timeline only shows what you post after signing in. Other users may see what you post there. You can block or report posts and people you don't want to see. Don't post info that identifies you (real name, home address, school, etc.). See our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
For parents: if your child uses the app+
Fan Coffret is an app for recording your oshi-katsu life. It is not a Kids-category app on the App Store, but we design with teens in mind. It is not a dating or DM app (no DM in the current version). Most records stay on the device; sharing with others is opt-in. We do not read or look at the content of notes or photos. Inappropriate posts can be reported; we review reports when feasible. If you have concerns, check sharing settings together or contact support@fancoffret.com. Details: Privacy Policy — For parents and guardians (Japanese).
Do you record audio or shoot video?+
No. The app has no feature to record audio with the microphone or to shoot or record video. The camera is used only when you take photos (goods, stickers, Oshi Color Hunt, etc.). The music widget only displays what's playing on your device — it does not record audio.
Do I need to enter my real name or contact info?+
No. There is no sign-up screen asking for your legal name, home address, phone number, or email. You can use core features like registering oshi, notes, and photos without signing in. Sign in with Apple is only required when you post to the public Oshi Color Hunt timeline or choose a public profile. The display name can be a nickname you pick — it does not have to be your real name. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do I need to allow location access?+
No. We do not ask for GPS / location permission or track where you are all the time. When you pick a photo in Oshi Color Hunt, the app may suggest a rough place name (e.g. city or town) from location data in the photo file — processed on your device only. Whether to include that place name in a post is your choice (you can leave it off). See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I import data saved in another app?+
In Memory Room, you can load schedule calendars that other apps or sites publish — via a link or an ICS file (.ics). They show up next to your own entries. Unofficial fan-run schedules are labeled clearly in the app.
You may also be able to load a backup (ZIP) you exported from the oshi-katsu app Oshibana by choosing it yourself with Choose file in the app. Importing the same ZIP more than once can duplicate oshi and other entries.
※Fan Coffret is not Oshibana’s official successor, official migration destination, endorsed app, or partner app. This feature is for loading files you saved yourself, at your own initiative. It does not automatically connect to Oshibana accounts or servers.
Will my data survive a new phone?+
Your data is stored on your device. iCloud backup is supported, so you can carry it over when you change phones. ZIP export and import are also supported.
When can I download it?+
Coming soon to the App Store. Follow the official X (@ponomadologie) for updates.
